At 36 years old, Tirzah Cooper is living her best life. She’s recently engaged, living the mom life in a blended family in Saskatoon, with a full-time job working with a plastic surgeon, while also being a photographer. The thing, though, is Tirzah is also battling breast cancer. And it’s something she’s decided to do very openly.
It was surprising to her just how common it is for women under 40 to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Cooper was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in June of this year. In this episode, she shares with Kalli how she found it, how she’s coping, and why she’s sharing her story so openly.
